In Japanese there are three characters that make up our name - 黒 Kuro香 Ka師 Shi

The kuro relates to the abilities & special techniques of our craftsmen.

The Ka character relates to our desire to have many people enjoy the uniqueness of our product.

The Shi – relates to our artisans who continue to create new works through a synthesis of fabric, design and color that embody Japanese culture & the virtues of Kyoto.

It is these three values that define us. To this day we pursue innovation.
